The Grassy KnollDr. Cyril Wecht, a nationally acclaimed forensic pathologist spoke in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium about some of his “most interesting cases”. He has investigated the JFK assassination, the Jon Benet Ramsey murder, and the O.J. Simpson trial among many other cases. Dr. Wecht earned his M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh and continued his education at the University of Maryland where he acquired his Ph.D. in Justice. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology as a anatomical, clinical, and forensic pathologist. Dr. Wecht was the former Chair of the Pathology Department and President of the medical staff at St. Francis Central Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is currently actively involved in forensic pathology as a clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine and Graduate School of Public Health.
