Channel 2 and UAA present the 2006 Gubernatorial Debate. The debate was worthwhile with hundreds of interested voters despite bad weather. The Gubernatorial Debate is coming soon. Everyone who is interested in matters of the state should be there to ask questions and to understand the views of the gubernatorial candidates. If you don’t’ know, you can’t vote effectively. The debate is at 7:30 p.m. and will run till 9 at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium, when a public Q and A session will begin. Learn about your candidates and help fill the Wendy on Sunday, Oct 23, 2006.
On October 24th the new UAA ANSEP building opened with traditional song and dance from many cultures, as well as a recognition ceremony for all of those who helped in its creation. Here, in full, is the event.
