Professor Paul Dunscomb publishes new book, ‘Japan Since 1945′

Paul Dunscomb's new book, Japan Since 1945, will be released at the Association for Asian Studies National Conference in Philadelphia, March 27-30. The book is part of the Association's Key Issues in Asian Studies series and examines the principal developments in Japanese politics, economics, society and foreign policy since 1945, as well as the question of why, despite all the changes that Japan has undergone since that time, it has not yet escaped the designation "postwar."

Two UAA professors contribute to research publication on emerging practices in e-marketing

UAA professors Alpana Desai and Edward Forrest collaborated on the "Mobile Marketing: The Imminent Predominance of the Smartphone" chapter. In it, they examine the emerging character of smartphone usage from both the user and marketing practitioner’s perspective, speculate on the near future impact of emerging mobile technologies on consumer and practitioner applications and analyze and discuss the current state of mobile analytics and mobile measurement.
