Graduate Student Orientation is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24. All new graduate students taking coursework at UAA are invited to attend. There will be a lot of useful hints on making your time at UAA the best it can be. Schedule of events:

1-2 p.m. – Welcome and Orientation PowerPoint

2-3:15 p.m. – Panel presentations by:

• Kelly McClain on responsible conduct of research
• University Police Officer on campus safety
• Bette Fenn on the University Health and Counseling Center
• Annie Route on student life for graduate students
• Danielle Giroux on the Graduate Student Association
• Veterans’ Affairs Officer on issues and resources for graduate students who are veterans
