Interested in study abroad? Get the jump on planning for an exciting summer, semester or year earning credit in a foreign country by attending the next study abroad information session. Find out the basics and pick up catalogs, so you can explore your options. All are welcome to attend!
UAA offers study abroad and exchange options in more than 55 countries including language immersion programs, major courses taught in English in non-English speaking countries, internships, service learning experiences, field studies, shipboard education and research opportunities. Learn what it takes to plan for study abroad– the costs; how scholarships and financial aid figure into the equation; how to work with your academic advisor to fine tune your goals, determine when to go abroad and choose courses that work well for your UAA degree; and how to select the program that offers the best fit.
Study abroad requires advance planning. Plan at least nine months to a year ahead. More information sessions will be announced shortly on the Office of International Affairs website.
