New management for Seawolf Dining

University Housing, Dining and Conference Services is pleased to announce that Scott Evers has been promoted to general manager and Amy Neill to assistant general manager for UAA Seawolf Dining.

Scott’s background includes experience as owner/chef of S&S Management Contracts, owner/chef of Glacial Reflections Catering, Chef de Cuisine at Hotel Captain Cook Crow’s Nest and Sous Chef at Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. He has been an instructor with UAA’s Culinary Arts program, and is an international ice-carving champion and medalist in competitions sanctioned by the American Culinary Federation. Scott has been executive chef with Seawolf Dining since 2008.

Amy has more than 25 years of experience in the Alaska food-service industry, and joined the staff at Seawolf Dining as director of retail dining in 2007, the year NMS began operating Seawolf Dining at UAA. She holds numerous professional certifications, including a B.S. in Food Service Management from Arizona State University. A dynamic presence around campus, Amy is an avid Chicago Bears fan who loves to spend time camping, fishing and riding her bike in the Alaska outdoors.

Seawolf Dining manages catering and meal plan operations at UAA, as well as 10 dining locations across campus, including the newly opened Spirit Express in the Health Sciences Building (HSB).
