UAA’s Undergraduate Research, College of Arts and Sciences and the Honor’s College are pleased to welcome sociologist Michael Macy as the first speaker in The Evolution of Complex Systems Fall Lecture Series. His lecture, “The Relational Revolution: How Digital Records of Human Interactions are Transforming Social Science,” will address the opportunities and pitfalls of collecting data on complex social networks.
Michael Macy is a professor of Sociology at Cornell University and has studied social networks in many different contexts. Some of his research is available here.
