UAA anthropology professor David Yesner will be giving a free lecture at the Anchorage Museum on Friday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. as part of the ongoing Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age exhibit. His lecture will cover early man’s interactions with mammoths in Alaska. Yesner is currently studying the 12,000-year-old Broken Mammoth site near Big Delta, Alaska.
